SCOPE OF THE PROJECT
Proposal for Art and Equine Hotel in Niederrhein Germany.
The 60 room hotel uses the natural site to its advantage and is energy efficient by means of it’s orientation and use of local resources. The total design of the building is aimed to be environmentally friendly. Water is an important part of the central lobby of the hotel and provides a focal point in the lobby.
Separate from the hotel building stables and workshop buildings are located on the site.
The workshops can facilitate 50 people..
The stables offer accommodation for 26 horses, where they can roam in adjacent meadows.
100 guest boxes for horses with 20 m2 outdoor space will be available for guests of the events, that will take place in a specially designed building.
